    Not bad.

Brattle Book Shop at 9 West Street in Boston, Massachusetts. One of America’s oldest and largest used book shops, the Brattle features an outside sale lot, two floors of general used books, and a third floor of rare & antiquarian books. Housed in a three-story building in the heart of Downtown Boston, The Brattle Book Shop carries an impressive stock of over 250,000 books, maps, prints, postcards and ephemeral items in all subjects. In addition to its general used and out-of-print stock, The Brattle Book Shop also maintains an inventory of collectibles, first editions and fine leather bindings in its rare book room. This is, without a doubt, one of the most magical places in Boston.
If you visit me, I will take you here. We will peruse old books and be merry. It will be wonderful. bookmania:

Defiant Occupy Boston protesters were arrested and charged with unlawful assembly and being in a public park after hours in a massive, early morning crackdown at the protest group’s second tent city on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

“It’s important that we gain control and make sure the rules are followed, “ said Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis, who was on site during the police action.

  6. I think I found my new barber in Cambridge. His name is Winter, he is a professional and he does not fuck around. Winter and his two brothers all work out of a tiny barber shop on Cambridge Street two blocks east of me. I can’t vouch for the other guys but Winter is a man of his craft. I’ve always admired the spirit of the artisan. Hope I can embody that myself one day.
Feels good to be a little cleaned up for the weekend. Who knows what’s out there. Need to get out of the law tower and in to some trouble.

  7. They are a comprehensive low-income service provider with locations throughout Boston and have some programs REMARKABLY SIMILAR to the work I was doing at the Center in Chicago. We set up a meeting next week to talk about volunteer opportunities. Might try to sell myself as a subject matter expert / consultant on public benefits counseling and program planning. Wouldn’t really be a “sell” because I totally AM an expert and I would be doing it for free…

    Anyways! I’m pumped!

    Woo!

  8. why hello there Tumblr,
this is a (goofy but decidedly awesome) photo of myself, my Step-Father Dan and his “new” 1978 Ford F100. i think we can all agree… that truck is one fine piece of steel and rubber.
anywho, a few important things:
TODAY is my birthday! i am 26 years old. whoa! i’m a geezer i know!
TOMORROW i will be in Chicago! can’t wait to see my old apartment and spend a moment with my Logan Square pals.
IN THE NEXT THREE DAYS Dan and i will travel over 1,250 miles in that sexy orange beast. first we’ll drive from Plymouth, MI to Chicago, IL so that i can pack up all my worldly possession in the back. then we’ll schlep from Chicago, IL to Buffalo, NY to crash for the night and see beautiful… Buffalo. finally we’ll speed from there to my new apartment in Cambridge, MA. i really can’t wait to get settled there. the last few months have left me rather disoriented as i have been without a real place to call “home”.
NEXT WEEK i start law school! FINALLY. i’ve already started reading my Civil Procedure book. it is… SURPRISINGLY ENGAGING.
hope everyone is having a great day! try to stay safe if you’re on the east coast.
cheers,
ataxiwardance
