So there’s this funny video circulating online of a guy in a bikini dancing to “Call Me Maybe” on Chatroulette. But The strangest part of the video is that, even though I’ve never met him in real life, I’m pretty positive the other guy in this pic is ATAXIWARDANCE. Greg, can you back me up on this?

Unfortunately is it not me!
However, given the inordinate amount of time I spend online, I would actually be strangely honored to claim the peculiar notoriety of being an incidental participant in a viral video. Sigh. Maybe next time something funny occurs online, I’ll be a part of it. If that ever happens again.
Also, Mr. Boven, I just checked out your art work. You are supremely talented. Keep up the excellent work!

I drew this on my iphone, so it’s not as good as it could have been, but yeppp.
I have been waiting my whole life for this game. My whole life.
Yes that says “tldr”.

Alright everyone. Plant a flag. We’ve reached the summit of the internet.

The identity of a company, specially a web service, depends too much of its website layout. We don’t have to see logos or typography in order to indentify the company, sometimes just we need colors and position. That’s why I merge the website layout with the artistic movement: De stijl.

  5. The bus has wireless internet, seats that look like they were upholstered with reject “magic-eye” designs and a windshield larger than a ping pong table. Also, the bus is driven by an excellent dude named Jose. I shared my pizza with him earlier. It was intimate.

I don’t really remember how I got here or why I’m going to New York City. Time, space, and purpose get kind of hazy on the bus. It has something to do with partying with Blake in Brooklyn or visiting a bunch of excellent old friends. In a previous life this absence of a clear goal would have bothered me. In a previous life I would have wondered how an unexceptional young man like myself came into such an intensely awkward luxury or how such a business model is sustainable. However, such questions truly reflect the pre-wireless-internet-on-a-god-damned-bus mentality of my former self and don’t seem important now. What does seem important is that I will be living with Blake in a lower east side penthouse for the weekend and soon the entire city will be partying like its 1999 for the 29th consecutive year .

So. Yeah. I am being personally chauffeured around New England in a vehicle larger and cleaner than my apartment for less than the cost of a nice glass of whiskey.

    How’s your night going?

Okay, while I’m not disagreeing with the general point here, some of this shit needs to be fact checked. When you click on some links, it just takes you to a youtube video with the same information. The bullet claiming that President Obama contacted city mayors and gave them info on how to arrest protesters has a link that takes you to a CBS new article. Obama and the Federal Government are not mentioned once in the story. It just says that mayors of major cities conference called each other and basically had a gripe session where they also discussed tactics. Get your shit right before you try to go out and convince people because if you make claims and say you have evidence, but your evidence is shit, people aren’t going to listen.

op stop with your tea party scare tactic bullshit
what is really funny is that out of the hundreds of people who reblogged this apparently only this one guy decided to fact check it
I know you all want to live out your little anarcho “kill the cops” black and and white “government is evil” fantasy so you can feel important and intelligent like you’re in on some big secret
but please, you are far from living in a ”police state” so stop fucking whining

I’m generally a nice person but, for the moment, I’m going to be a little obstinate and mean.
Dear tomlet and das-krankenhaus,
I am rather upset about your commentary on the above reblogs. It’s not because you’re wrong. Sometimes being wrong is okay. Sometimes good people can end up being wrong despite at earnest effort at the truth. That is a good and brave kind of wrong.
You are the bad kind of wrong. You have hit upon the unholy trinity of wrongness: objectively wrong, lazy in pursuing un-wrongness, and loud in your wrongness. You should, in your wrongness, recant and feel shame.
Because these are ideas that matter profoundly to me, I am going to show you where and why you are wrong.

“When you click on some links, it just takes you to a youtube video with the same information.”
That video depicts Senator Carl Levin from the my home state of Michigan. He is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services and a member of the Committee on Homeland Security. In that video, Senator Levin is making sworn testimony on the floor of the Senate that President, through his advisers, specifically requested the bill be re-drafted to remove provisions exempting United States Citizens from the detainment provisions. This is exactly what my claim above asserts.
“The bullet claiming that President Obama contacted city mayors and gave them info on how to arrest protesters has a link that takes you to a CBS new article. This is a lazy and factually inaccurate statement. First off, the Department of Homeland Security is a part of President Obama’s cabinet and huge part of the executive federal government. To suggest he is not responsible for this organization is wrong. To suggest he wouldn’t be aware of or directing their operations is naive.
Chuck Wexler, who is cited in the article as the head of the Police Executive Research Forum, is also on multiple boards of the Department of Homeland Security. Multiple participants in these calls, including the particularly violent Oakland Mayor Quan, have tacitly suggested that city suppressions efforts were coordinated, advised, and influenced by the DHS and FBI.
Rick Ellis, a journalist for the Minneapolis Examiner, revealed further information on the topic from a source at the Justice Department. Don’t worry, journalist is just a fancy word for “one who makes a good effort to report the truth”.
“The official, who spoke on background to me late Monday evening, said that while local police agencies had received tactical and planning advice from national agencies, the ultimate decision on how each jurisdiction handles the Occupy protests ultimately rests with local law enforcement.
According to this official, in several recent conference calls and briefings, local police agencies were advised to seek a legal reason to evict residents of tent cities, focusing on zoning laws and existing curfew rules. Agencies were also advised to demonstrate a massive show of police force, including large numbers in riot gear. In particular, the FBI reportedly advised on press relations, with one presentation suggesting that any moves to evict protesters be coordinated for a time when the press was the least likely to be present.”
This, while certainly fallible, is evidence sufficient such that I can stand by my original claim. That you would insinuate that my claim is unsubstantiated because you didn’t feel like spending five seconds on google, is lazy.
“Get your shit right before you try to go out and convince people because if you make claims and say you have evidence, but your evidence is shit, people aren’t going to listen.”
No. U.
How do I know all these things? It is because I took the time to research and understand the world as best I could before I opened my noise-hole. Take a fucking note.

You are the worst kind of “intellect”. You start by falsely ascribing a pejorative identity and motive to me. You then piggy-back on someone else’s erroneous work and mock everyone else for not sharing in that mistaken skepticism. The crescendo of your short missive is reached when, despite your evident sloth, you trivialize the great masses who struggle and implicitly exalt yourself as being above such a fray.
Not once do you assert anything but your petulant opinions on a factual matter. Shut the fuck up. I’ve read your blog. Your opinions are tired tropes of the self-congratulating pseudo-intellectual class who only exercise rhetoric as a way feel superior to those who struggle with meaningful problems in life. Don’t be so quick to dismiss the people who fight for your right to have a tumblr dedicate to lolita hentai porn.
You want me to “stop whining” about living in a police state? Really? There are three possible meanings I could draw on that statement and they are all asinine. Your stupidity and equivocating of serious threats is criminal negligence of your duty as a citizen. Please either educate yourself, be silent, or go be wrong on a different internet.

  7. I’m going to set aside the next hour to drink the six pack pictured above and chip away at my overstuffed ask box. After that it’s straight to work on Torts.
That’s when I will work on Torts. Yup. Right after a little heavy drinking.
THEN. IT’S. STRAIGHT. TO. WORK.
Feel free to submit a comment or question. As always, priority will be given to wit and flattery.
